A cycle of five songs The first thing that stands out here is the delicate instrumentation. In this cycle consisting of five songs composed by Aart Strootman.

Originally composed for alto voice, vibraphone, electric guitar and bass guitar. the lyrics were written from the quotes of the writer Vidiadhar Surajprasad Naipaul,

with this project we would like to broaden the usage of the historical instruments into today’s compositions.

Alto voice - Iris Bouman, baroque guitar/theorbo - Jeremy Bass, harpsichord/organ - Fracesco elgorni, baroque cello - gala lozynska.
